Mr. Schultheiss was born in Fond du Lac, WI in 1970. He grew up in Hartford, WI, where he attended Hartford Union High School from 1984 to 1988. He is a 1997 graduate of UW-Whitewater. He is happily married to his wife Gloria since 2000.
Military Experience: In July of 1988, he joined the Army as an enlisted man. He served two tours in Germany while on active duty; two years in Fulda Germany with the 11th ACR, and two years in Wiesbaden Germany with the 12th Avn Bde. Upon his completion of active duty service, he joined the Wisconsin Army National Guard. At the same time, he enrolled in college at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he earned his commissioned through the ROTC program. As an NCO, he served in the 121st FA in Sussex and the 64th ROC in Monroe. As a commissioned officer, he has served in the 1158th Transportation Company, the 732nd Maintenance Battalion, and the 732nd CSSB (OIF 2009-2010). He is currently assigned to the JFHQ of the Wisconsin National Guard. Mr. Schultheiss has been with the Badger Battalion since June 2006, and is currently the officer in charge of the detachment at Maranatha Baptist Bible College.
